The switch on my saw failed. Contacted Harbor Freight and was told that there was not a replacement switch available.

I checked around and went to a site that I have been able to get parts for several things in my home with no problem. While checking that site, I found a switch that looked like it would work. I ordered it and the only difference was that it had spade connectors instead of screws. I replaced the switch and it is working fine.

25 dollars for a switch is much better than 175 for a new saw.

Try RepairClinic.com for replacement parts. They are Great!!!!

Reason of review: Bad quality.

I bought a Skilsaw 3310 fromLowes. The switch also failed.

No replacement, no support, keep checking back. I went to Harbor Freight to look at the Chicago Electric 10"table saw. Lo and behold, exact same saw, exact same switch. So I checked for a replacement switch for the Chicago to use on the Skilsaw.

Of course it was not available.

Go figure...must be same manufacturer. Thanks for your post, I am going to go your route.
