Rude obnoxious manger/ employee of tupelo mississippi store 289

Had to ask for help rude reply didn't know product not able to read box smart remarks and opened boxed for no reason if he could read. Didn't explain rewards program that it was costing money.

Was costing the same as I was paying . Had to remove it. Cashier gave me the store #289 must have been manager Had to void transaction he rushed waited on another person cause I was not agreeing with rewards. And was still rude ..

it ruined my day and should have confronted him. I do not give respect if ppl dont show it.. I was yes sir. I just can not get over him..

I shout to ask for help he came out of the back. Ask for motors for a fan "" you passed it on your way in"" I need it to plug into a 220 volt. Couldn't read box. I had to call brother read the box to him to decide which one.

I have never been waited on by such a rude person in habor freight of any store till today.

He is *** rude and not to smart to be in that position. Needs training in all areas of life.

I paid for a tool chest at Harbor Freight in Hornell NY on Feb 24, 2025. The total amount of the receipt was $139.30.

It was entered as a pre-order because the item was not currently in stock. I was given a receipt with order number for later pick-up. They told me I had to contact them about the pick-up, that they would NOT call me. So I revisited the store in person at least six (6) more times over the last three (3) weeks.

Every time I visited and asked if the item was in I was given a different story. They either needed the receipt to look it up OR they could look it up with just my last name. NO CONSISTENCY. On Mar 10 at 9:12 AM I called and spoke with a "Roy or Ray" to ask if the item were in because I had a truck to pick up the tool chest.

When I said I had a receipt with order number he REFUSED to take the order number. He check using only my name and said it was not in. He added that the trucks that were supposed to be there on Monday were never on time and I should call back Thursday when they actually show up ?!? When I visited on Mar.

14 the clerk took my name and tried a look-up. This time my purchase was nowhere to be found in their system... In any way. By name.

Inside Track Member number... Anything ! When I explained I had a receipt and that I tried giving the order number to "Roy" the clerk only said that "Roy" had been a bit strange lately... really ?!?

They told us UNLESS WE HAD A RECEIPT THERE WAS NO ORDER !!! They took my money and said they had NO RECORD, and we were not going to be given the tool chest ! I told them we had the receipt but they did not believe me ! We left feeling like we had done something wrong and they did not believe us.

*** !!! So we went immediately home even though we had told them we were in route to a meal with my aging parents. We returned to Harbor freight in about 30 minutes after driving 14 miles round trip... WITH THE RECEIPT !

The receipt was long, detailed and without a doubt PROVED our purchase ! I also said we had a receipt sent by email. THEY STILL COULD NOT FIND THE PURCHASE IN THEIR RECORDS and said they would have to look into it. Then another pair of clerks (three now for the day) started getting testy and said they would "figure it out".

Some Miranda called us about an hour and a half later saying that they had to call corporate and have them check their records... and BEHOLD the purchase was genuine.

We were lost in some Que. They offered NO APOLOGY AT ALL and said the item would get there someday.

Store is always great, prices good, online is bad

I was debating a tow-behind backhoe, tractor backhoe, or excavator. After much work and deliberation because of the ease of the 36-month no-interest card (beyond that, almost a criminal 32%) and my experience with Harbor Freight, I chose to purchase theirs.

First off, I had to get an HF card to get the no-interest option; this proved to be impossible as I could never complete the card. I also tried to set up an account; this was also impossible. I went to the store to do the card and make the purchase. It took three tries, but that finally went through.

I could not purchase as it is an online product only. I went to order online, and it would not go through, so I called the customer service number, and fortunately, they picked up (I tried a couple of days earlier and after 20 minutes chose for the callback, which never happened). It turns out the temp card cannot be used online, so I had to wait for the permanent card. Unfortunately, the limit they gave me was $2,500, and the purchase was closer to $3,500.

I was told on the phone I cannot pay with two sources, only one, so I was advised to call and ask for a credit limit increase. I was refused both by machine and on the phone. I rarely ask for credit, so I do not like having one hit my account. This ruined the entire reason to purchase as I was going to pay off early and can finance a $30,000 machine if I chose, but somehow Harbor Freight could not approve $3,500.

I had them kill my account and will not make this purchase, though I easily could via cash or other cards. This whole experience was such a waste of time, and all I have from it is wasted time and a hit on my credit.

I regularly shop there but won’t be any time soon. Hope this saves others some time should they think about doing something similar.

Unable to search for anything going through Google. When I go to Microsoft Edge I have to hold this icon to insure I am not a bot.

When I hold it it turns blue then tells me to hold it again.

I can do this all day and it will loop back. I think I will purchase my Drill Press from Northern Tool, I can get right into their web site.

A manager at one of the stores in Crossville Tennessee was very rude to me

Me and my husband went in late Monday may 19 2025 at 730pm I was looking around while my husband went and got his stuff he followed me around asking if I needed help I said no and he proceeded to tell that they were closing and needed to exit the store knowing damn good and well that he seen me come in with my husband he made me feel very uncomfortable he just kept following me around customers should not be made to feel that way even women yall r going to end up with a harassment charge on ur manager!!!

My name is Paul C. Ledbetter.

I have been a customer at your store for quite some time, a go-inside track member, and today, Saturday, I just went out there to return an item I purchased. I walked to the counter and the gentleman at the counter told me to go stand in line, even though there was no one at his counter. He stated he had to help the man standing against the end cap. I asked him why I needed to stand in line and he responded by saying he was going to help that guy.

He then called for that man to come over to his register and simply ignored me and my reason for being there. I was utterly astounded, and I decided that this store would no longer receive any more of my money. This unpleasant experience, I will share with everyone I know, as well as post on social media to ensure the public is aware. Simply because he chose not to attend to me, it felt as if his demeanor was a direct reflection of your corporate office's stance.

As he represents you, one can perceive this as a reflection of your company. You will no longer receive any business from me or anyone that I know because I will advise them never to shop there again.

I bought some metal loading ramps at Harbor Freight. All of the edges on the ramps were razor sharp, probably because the ramps were stamped and no effort was made to dull the sharp edges.

Not surprisingly, I cut my hands while attempting to use the ramps. So, I boxed them up and put them in my garage.

Because the ramps were defective (sharp edges) and unusable, I tried to return them to Harbor Freight. The manager told me that it had been more than 90 days since I bought them and Harbor Freight would not give me an exchange, refund or store credit.

Harbor Freight sells highly defective products.

I will never buy anything from them again and encourage others to do the same. D

Hi, you currently run a coupon for free HF bucket...

Hi, you currently run a coupon for free HF bucket with purchase. My wife and I made a required purchase and was given the bucket without the cover.

I asked for a cover and the associate said it would cost $2.99. Just how cheap could a company possibly be especially just before Christmas? Who was the genius behind this sales project? This left a very bad taste with me and forced me to view HF in a negative light.

Why a cover charge? At least give it to the members especially since the bucket had the HF name on it and is free advertising.

Needless to say in two years I will not be renewing my membership and over $2.99. Shame on you!

Very nice people but the products they do not stand behind

Purchased as sump pump from them was not told about an extended warranty that we could have purchased at the time. Had it for a total of 6 months and the float pump broke.

So we call them we read them the information exactly as it appeared on the item.

They send us an item that is not compatible with the sump pump. I call. Oh yeah we didn't have that item in stock so we sent you this item.

It won't work with the one we have. Well when you return this one call and see if we have the other in stock???!!!

Complain about a manager

She was rude to me and my neighbor told us if we didnt like it we could shop elsewhere. It started with her attitude telling us she was going to put another customer in line in front of us we said no .

The other customer came into the store while we were in line was behind us an associate told him he could go to another register, then she brought him back over and said she was going to put him ahead of us we said no she got rude other associates apologized to us saying she is high strung . Rude is rude.

Poor customer service

I went to Harbor Freight to purchase an item and looked around in the item location, the item was not there, I asked the cashier to check if they have the item and there was 4 pieces in stock. The store manager Henry Agramonte, said since I looked they don't have it, I asked a floor clerk to check the stock room and Henry Agramonte told him we don't have it. This is poor customer service, because many times the items are in stock and not on the shelves

I contacted the company and they refuse to do anything. I have since had to contact my credit card company to file a dispute.

I used to love this store, but I am changing my review after being charged a restocking fee on a BROKEN product. I bought it, it didn't work as described, I returned it WITH the receipt and was charged a $40 restocking fee.

This was NOT mentioned when I purchased it from the store, nor was there a sign on or near the item. If there is a restocking fee, this NEEDS to be mentioned BEFORE I purchase. I generally don't return items, but this was a pricier item and it didn't work. After this, I feel like this store is not honest, and I will not be shopping here again.

I tried talking to customer service who claimed this was on the receipt and on their website - which is great except I shopped IN THE STORE and it's not shown on my receipt until AFTER purchase - as in, I had no way of knowing about this until AFTER the purchase. I can never trust this company after this scam.
