I went to the harbor freight nearest me and bought a drill well it was supposed to be a drill it had everything except the drill in it and was obvious to all the other workers the box had even been re taped but the manager told me i have to come back here in the morning to talk to someone else i drove here 2 times today for nothing and then i get treated like im doing something wrong by the manager he was the most rude person i have met in any store if someone takes care of this kind of stuff please do im not coming back in the morning i will buy one somewhere else just want the manager to get treated how i did, thanks

User's recommendation: Open your item before you buy and make sure its there and not double taped.

I have not heard from Habor Freight

I have sent an email but haven't got any reply, we are a company in Malaysia having a supply of nitrile gloves for export market.

Do not stand behind their products

Several times I have purchased a tool from them and each time, after a short period of time, when I need a replacement part I find they have discontinued the tool and have no parts available. This is the last time I waste my money and have to throw an expensive tool away. Beware!!!

User's recommendation: Think twice. The lure of a cheap price may cost you more in the end.

They have the worst customer service of any company I have seen in all my 81 years of life. I would never recommend them to anyone and in fact I will always tell them to go anywhere else.

The one in Springfield, Ohio chose to lose me a 15 year plus customer rather than replace 2 nuts that were missing from my kit to build my tool cart, now it is put together with cross-threaded bolts.

User's recommendation: Go elsewhere to buy your stuff just anywhere else unless you want poor customer service.

I bought a weed trimmer last year with warranty

I bought a specific weed trimmer from HF last year with a warranty, weed trimmer is not working and Id like to exchange the weed trimmer. They told me they discontinued (lynx) model. I need to call lynx company. Getting know where with them . What can you do for me ?

The line on the spool keeps breaking I bought this product through harbor freight in Bridgeport and is under warranty so how can I get this problem resolved

Return of product

bought a transfer pump, and extended warranty. Asked if I could return it if I had problems. Was told yes, just bring it back for refund or exchange. I asked once again at checkout. Again told yes. It didn't work,. Took it back just to be told no way it could be returned to store. Apparently the store associates are clueless. Won't be doing business with that store or company any longer.

Terrible customer service

Harbor Freight refused to give me 2 nuts for 2 bolts that belonged to a cart I bought from them. 2 were missing and I do not know 1 kind of nut from another so I asked them to give me the 2 that were missing. I spent the better part of the day putting this thing together just to find 2 nuts missing. They said we can not help you however if you want to bring it back we will exchange it for another one.

User's recommendation: Since they refused to give me the correct nuts and I have 2 bolts with cross threads, go elsewhere for your products. I refuse to buy anything else from them until they make it right with me and I traded with them for about 15 years.

Really ? I am a woman senior who cannot stop laughing at this complaint!

Is THIS kind of thought process younger people are taught in school and at home NOW ?? Why didn’t you simply take another nut and bolt of the same size down to your closest hardware store, hand said pieces to an employee and say, “I need two each please.” THAT would have saved you gas, frustration and most importantly, YOUR TIME!

Good service when I ask for it. I have always believed our money pays their wages so they need to realize in all actuality they work for us. Since nuts are cross threaded they build me another themselves or refund my money.

Bait & switch

On Friday June 25 a District Manager called to advise they now understood my issue and I was indeed eligible for the full discount. She told me to return to the store to receive the refund. Its unfortunate it took this long &;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;; this much effort but in the end they did the right thing.

Item ordered

I preordered a US General Side Toolbox back at the beginning of May, I was told it would be 2 to 6 weeks. I was just told it would not be in now until the end of August maybe later. 2 to 6 weeks has now turned into 16+ weeks. Now I look on their website and it is saying NOT AVAILABLE UNTIL OCTOBER. Now it looks like 2 to 6 wks. Turned into 6 months. I tried several times to contact Harbor Freight via emails with only one response. I was told the DM will be contacting me. Im still waiting! All the Store Manager at the Walled Lake, MI location I ordered could say You can get a refund and go somewhere else.

False Early Labor Day Sale

Store Manager Diane Stover promoting false Labor Day Sale to customers in the month of May 2021. My email sent to me does not say Labor Day Sale for May. I don't appreciate Diane trying to increase?sales from cheating me out of my money. Besides, sales cashier Louis doesn't know how to present herself with knowledge. I want be back. I see why sales are down. New management is needed.

Have a complaint

Tried to return a defective item was told they dont have the money to refund it. Was told to come back i did so this morning. And now am told to come back again. This will make 210 miles i have had to drive to return a defective item. So i am out 40 dollars for fuel and still have not gotten my money
